Here is my husband, Albert, with a few of the ladies here. (L-R) Princess - Named by my grand daughter and she is the last daughter of my oldest mare, Penny. Pepper and Burbon - both of these little ladies were purchased in the fall of 2006 as weanlings.
As you can tell, my horses like their pettings. (And Albert seems to be enjoying it too.)

This is one of the 'rescue' horses I have. She is a 2004 Cremello Quarter Horse mare.
She was very shy when she came to us in 2007, but She is any thing but shy now!!!! She is the first one to come to you and loves attention. Her color and her blue eyes mean more barn time and extra grooming care, but she loves it and it gives the grand-kids something to do.

This is the horse that started everything here. Meet Sparky - a 2006 Leo bred gelding. He is easy on the eye and fun to ride. We have tried to take Sparky to the sale barn several times and he always manages to get some type of 'booboo'. His last injury was a wire cut to his right front pastern. The cut has healed over and we have started him on a gradual work out schedule to asses his soundness. Hopefully he will be completely sound for the type of work he was born for, working cattle both on the ranch and in the arena. He is very 'catty' and can turn on a dime.

He has been ridden at the sale barn and on the ranch. He has had a rope thrown from his back, ridden the river breaks, and the grand kids have even ridden him around the round pen. This is a great horse for the experienced rider to enjoy.
Here is a fancy little 2010 filly we are putting a lot of faith in. We call her Lil and she will be the last daughter I get from Lil Easy Feature. I lost Easy last winter. I morned his loss at the time, but based on the appearance of Lil, I think we will continue to morn the loss of his prodigy.
Cody Horstman is standing behind her in this picture and he is 5'9" so that gives you a good idea of her size at three months. She is a little spitfire, but she sure is pretty. We are planning to get her into a show ring as soon as we can. (First we need to be able to pick up her feet without ducking. lol)
